The transfer expert revealed that all documents between Manchester United and Chelsea have now been signed, with Santos set to officially put pen to paper on Friday.
The Brazilian midfielder will sign a contract running until June 2031, with the option of a further year.
The latest development comes just one day after highly respected journalist David Ornstein broke the news that United had reached an agreement with Chelsea worth an initial £48 million plus £2 million in easily achievable add-ons.
Santos has been one of Manchester United’s priority midfield targets this summer as Michael Carrick looks to strengthen the heart of his squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The 22-year-old enjoyed an impressive season in the Premier League.
He arrives with a growing reputation after making six appearances for Brazil’s senior national team.
United’s focus has largely been on midfield additions throughout the window.
The club have also reached an agreement with Atalanta for Ederson, although reports in recent days have suggested that deal could yet face complications before being finalised.
Attention now turns to Santos’ official announcement, with all major steps in the transfer now completed.
Following a successful medical and the signing of all paperwork, only the formal unveiling by Manchester United remains.
Once confirmed, Santos will become the club’s latest summer arrival.

The Brazilian is viewed as one of the brightest young midfielders in Europe.
United will hope he can make an immediate impact as they prepare for a campaign that includes both Premier League and Champions League football.
