Liverpool have lost their third game of the season as Chelsea beat them 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

Liverpool lost their second game in the league in a row and their third game in a row after losing in the Champions League a few days back to Galatasaray. Chelsea's Estevao scored the winner in the 95th minute to give the Blues three points.

Chelsea took the lead in the 14th minute of the match as Moises Caicedo took a strike from outside the box. In the second half, Liverpool equalized as Cody Gakpo scored in the 63rd minute.

Estevao found the winner in the 95th minute as Marc Cucrella placed a perfect pass for the Brazilian winger.

After the match, Arne Slot was asked about the concerning results at Liverpool lately, after the Reds started perfectly with five wins out of the first five matches in the new season.

Arne Slot on Liverpool's Performance

Slot was asked about his team's performance against Chelsea as Liverpool were after a winning goal late in the game. Despite the loss, Slot believes the team was dominant throughout the whole match, but the late parts of the game were crucial for the loss.

Arne Slot said, "We were the dominant team, but in the last 10-15 mins it was end-to-end, both teams could have scored. Both teams arrived a lot of times at the 18-yard line. These are the margins that don't fall for us at the moment. We have to work harder to not rely on these margins. As I said, Chelsea, Palace away, these are also teams that ask you a lot of questions."

Slot also talks about the three losses in a row for Liverpool this past week before the international break. Liverpool has lost to Crystal Palace, Galatasaray, and now Chelsea.

The Dutch manager praised the previous opponents by saying, "First of all, the opposition we face. Last season, we lost against Chelsea as well. Stamford Bridge is always difficult. We were very close to a result. Small margins. As I said at Galatasaray, we had a one-vs-one, then they get a penalty. We concede in extra, extra time against Palace. And then today they score a goal that could go at either end."
