Barcelona loanee Alex Valle, currently at Como, reveals Cesc Fabregas asks the team to ‘push as high as possible’ and insists the Serie A and Champions League levels are ‘similar.’
Como secured a 2-0 win over Fiorentina today, bouncing back after three consecutive defeats in Serie A.
“We always aim for victory, regardless of the opponent. Between Serie A and the Champions League, the level is similar,” Valle told DAZN via TMW.
The Spanish talent was one of Como’s new signings in the January transfer window.
He spent the first part of the campaign on loan at Celtic before joining the Azzurri on a temporary deal until the end of the season.
“Fabregas asks us to push as high as possible. Fortunately, the goals came today,” concluded the 20-year-old.
Valle has already played three Serie A matches for Como, collecting 248 minutes on the pitch.
At Celtic, he featured in 11 league matches, accumulating 650 minutes and providing three assists. In the UEFA Champions League, Valle played five games with Celtic, collecting 210 minutes on the pitch and delivering one assist.
Como stand 13th in Serie A with 25 points from 25 matches, recording six wins, seven draws, and 12 losses. They’ve scored 30 goals and conceded 40.
