Manchester United are rapidly approaching the January transfer window, as the Red Devils look to prepare for the second half of the season.
United, who sit sixth in the Premier League currently, have already signed Charlie Hardy from Derby County.
Meanwhile, Cristian Orozco looks set to sign for United following him reaching a formal agreement with the club.
Furthermore, with two signings seemingly made already, Manchester United have been linked with a move for Ruben Neves, who plays for Al-Hilal.
With this in mind, the Red Devils have contacted the midfielder.
But, with the obstacle of Neves’ wages in the way, United could find reaching an agreement difficult.
However, it is not just in the men’s team where January is crucial.
In the women’s team, January has been at the centre of attention with the club already signing Hanna Lundkvist.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have also extended the contract of Hinata Miyazawa as the team look to retain her services.
Now, the club have officially confirmed another new signing coming in the doors.
Announcing the news on their official website, Manchester United have confirmed that Bayern Munich striker Lea Schuller has joined the club.
The club website announced: “Manchester United is pleased to confirm that Lea Schüller has agreed to join the club on 1st January 2026 from Bayern Munich, subject to international clearance and registration.”
It continued: “The German international has agreed a contract until June 2029.”
Speaking for the first time as a Manchester United player, Lea Schuller commented:“From the first conversations that I had with Marc and the club, the ambitions of everyone here were very clear.
She continued: “I still have so much that I want to achieve in my career, and I know that Manchester United is the perfect club to join.
“I feel that the team’s style of football will really suit my game, I hope my qualities and experience can help us to achieve our aims both in England and in the Champions League.”
Schuller, who had six months left on her contract, has been prolific for club and country, scoring more than 100 goals for Bayern Munich and 54 goals for her country.
Meanwhile, with this in mind, her signature will be seen as a crucial move in making United stronger.
Manchester United have confirmed that Lea Schuller has signed a three and a half year deal with the club.
As well as this, the confirmation of this signing follows CentreDevils’ exclusive about Schuller signing for United earlier this month.
Meanwhile, supporters may also look towards possible debut games for Lea Schuller.
