The 2025 AFCON will see one of the most important matches of the group stage as Senegal will play against Benin in Group D. Both teams have the possibility to advance to the next round and a win can push them top of the group.

Senegal is on four points after a win and a draw after playing two group stages matches against Botswana and DR Congo. Benin is on three points after one win and one loss after two group stage matches against Botswana and DR Congo.

Benin lost 1-0 to DR Congo in their first 2025 AFCON match as Theo Bongona scored the only goal of the match.

Benin then defeated Botswana 1-0 over the weekedn with a goal from Yohan Roche in the 28th minute of the match.

Senegal defeated Botswana 3-0 in their group stage match of the 2025 AFCON. Senegal's goalscorers were Nicolas Jackson and Cherif Ndiaye. Jackson scored two goals in Senegal's victory and Ndiaye scored the third.

Over the weekend, Senegal drew 1-1 with DR Congo. DR Congo took the lead through a goal from Cedric Bakambu in the 61st minute, but Sadio Mane scored the equalizer for Senegalk in the 69th minute.

Where to Watch Benin vs Senegal

Benin vs Senegal will kick off at 2 p.m. ET/ 11 a.m. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 8 p.m. local time in Tanger, Morocco at the Grand Stade de Tanger.

The match will be avialable to watch in the United States and in other countries.
