Bologna, Atalanta and Fiorentina are among the players tracking ex-Sassuolo midfielder Hamed Traore, as Bournemouth want €20m for the sale.

The 25-year-old made his mark at Sassuolo before the €25.62m sale to Bournemouth in the summer of 2023.

He had a loan spell at Napoli, then spent this season in France with Auxerre, where he flourished thanks to 10 goals and two assists in 26 Ligue 1 appearances.

Traore back on transfer radar for many clubs

According to Footmercato in France and Calciomercato.it in Italy, these performances caught the attention of numerous clubs, including a potential return to Serie A for Bologna, Fiorentina and Atalanta.

The Ivory Coast international moved to Italy as a child and came up through the Empoli youth academy before his move to Sassuolo in 2019.

His contract with Bournemouth runs to June 2028, but they are happy to sell for a reported €20m fee.

There is plenty of competition for Traore’s signature, including OGC Nice, West Ham United, Olympique Lyonnais and AS Monaco.

His career path was affected by a bout of malaria, which took a while to fully recover from.
