Chelsea face Brighton at the Amex in the Premier League in just over an hour, and the team news for the game is in!

It’s a pretty interesting look to the lineup, with two tweaks to the team that lost on Saturday and perhaps a formation change.

Rob Sanchez is in goal, and there looks like a back five in place. Marc Cucurella and Malo Gusto are at wing back, with Wesley Fofana, the returning Trevoh Chalobah and Jorrel Hato as the three centre backs.

In midfield, as we predicted, Romeo Lavia comes in alongside Moises Caicedo.

Then there’s Enzo Fernandez and Pedro Neto as attackers, playing off Liam Delap up top.

Of course there are other ways this could look – Gusto could be on the wing with Chalobah or Fofana at right back. Or maybe it’s Hato at left back with Cucurella playing as effectively a left winger.

Here are the full team line-ups for Brighton vs Chelsea (kick off at 20:00 GMT)

CHELSEA:

Given how shocking the team’s performance has been in the last few games, we understand the decision to try something new. Cole Palmer is out of the squad entirely, which is probably a good thing given his form.

In the build-up to this game, Levi Colwill did a big feature with the club about his injury and subsequent rehab.

Paul Merson has said that Chelsea would take a big risk in appointed Andoni Iraola because he would face the same challenges as Liam Rosenior.
