Fresh reports have revealed that the midfielder is now close to securing a move to the MLS.
The Brazilian has already confirmed that he will leave Old Trafford once his contract expires this summer.

LA Galaxy were also credited with interest.
But the former Real Madrid midfielder is now understood to be prioritising a switch to Inter Miami.
The report claims verbal terms between both parties are close to being finalised.
The MLS side are optimistic that a deal can be completed within league financial regulations.
The move would see Casemiro join a growing list of global stars currently playing in Miami.
Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba are already part of the squad, while Manchester United legend David Beckham continues overseeing the club as co-owner.
Casemiro joined Manchester United from Real Madrid in 2022 in a deal worth around £60 million.
During his spell at Old Trafford, he won both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup while making over 150 appearances across all competitions.
His expected departure now marks another major change ahead of what is shaping up to be a busy summer at Manchester United.
