Celtic have always been at the top of Scottish football, with the club routinely looking at strengthening their squad to remain at the top.

Whilst Hearts are currently leading the league, the Scottish Premiership is routinely dominated by Celtic and Rangers who have both won the league 55 times overall.

However, for the Scottish Women’s Premier League the outlook is slightly different.

The league is routinely dominated by Glasgow City, who are current league leaders, with Celtic sitting in second place.

However, in a bid to boost their defence to fight for the top spot, Celtic Women have brought in a new defender.

Now, Celtic have taken to their official website to confirm the signing of Evie Rabjohn from Manchester United.

Revealing their latest signing, the Scottish giants commented: “Celtic FC Women are delighted to announce the signing of Evie Rabjohn on a two-and-a-half-year contract, the new Celt arriving after two years at Manchester United.”

The statement continues: “Rabjohn makes the move after gaining first-team experience during the first half of the 2025/26 season on loan at Sunderland FC in the Barclays WSL 2, where she also spent time playing alongside fellow January recruit, Tara O’Hanlon.”

Speaking for the first time as a Celt, Rabjohn commented: “I’m very excited to be here! I’m ready to play and show what I’m about.”

She continued: “It’s a massive club, so I’m really, really happy.

“Coming to Celtic is an opportunity to fight for trophies, and titles. That is something that as a kid, you dream of.

“Having the opportunity to be able to do that is great and something that I am really looking forward to here.”
