Rob Sanchez has started in goal as the first-choice option. The back line has seen Malo Gusto, Wes Fofana, Jorrel Hato, Marc Cucurella, Trevoh Chalobah, Reece James, Josh Acheampong, and Trevoh Chalobah feature as either a four or a five depending on the system.

Andrey Santos and Moises Caicedo has emerged as the preferred pivot in midfield with Enzo Fernandez capable of filling in as the third option. Enzo has been moved to the number ten spot with Estevao, Jamie Gittens, Pedro Neto, and Alejandro Garnacho starting on the wings.
