Chelsea’s final decision that they have made on one player this morning suggests that another new arrival is now on the cards.

This news comes after Chelsea beat Real Betis to win the Conference League on Wednesday night after being a goal down at half time and turning it around.

The Blues ended up winning the game 4-1 in the end after a bit of a Cole Palmer masterclass in the second half, providing two beautiful assists for his team mates to grab crucial goals.

Although head coach Enzo Maresca is once again not willing to get carried away after this by insisting that Chelsea’s target for next season is not going to be winning the Champions League!

Final decision made

It’s been reported this morning via a number of outlets that Chelsea have now made the decision that they will not be signing Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on a permanent deal and they will be paying the £5m to send him back.

Sancho was receiving a pretty mixed bag of reactions from Chelsea fans, with some wanting him to stay and others wanting him sent back. But he will now be heading back.

Gittens to benefit?

The potential signing of Jamie Gittens to Chelsea has gathered pace this week and it is only going to become more likely to happen after this news, with Chelsea in the need to bring in a new left winger or two now.

Fabrizio Romano has mentioned Gittens to Chelsea this week and it genuinely looks like something that could be on the cards. I can see it accelerating soon.
