According to the 2025 MLSPA Salary Guide, which was released Wednesday afternoon, the Chicago Fire will have the seventh-highest total team salary in Major League Soccer in 2025.

Chicago Fire’s $22,052,757 total team salary is led by Designated Player Jonathan Bamba’s $5,581,806 guaranteed compensation in his first MLS season after joining the club in the offseason from Celta de Vigo in Spain.

Bamba is followed by fellow Designated Player Hugo Cuypers’ 2025 guaranteed compensation of $3,528,044 and Philip Zinckernagel’s 2025 guaranteed compensation of $1,631,290.
