Congratulations Pouring In For Cristiano Ronaldo On Monday

It's been a long time coming.

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly found the one. After eight years of dating longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez, the Portuguese soccer legend decided to put a (massive) ring on it by asking for her hand in marriage.

Once one of sports' most-eligible bachelors, the 40-year-old Al-Nassr captain asked Georgina to be his wife on Monday with an enormous oval diamond engagement ring that'll be sure to blind any woman who might look their way.

Rodriguez shared the news to her Instagram this afternoon with the translated caption: "Yes I do. In this and in all my lives."

Fans couldn't have been happier for the couple across the internet.

"Cristiano Ronaldo has finally found that click as he & Georgina Rodriguez are finally getting married ❤️" a writer announced.

"Congratulations to Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina, who have officially become engaged to marry," an account posted.

"She said ! " OneFootball exclaimed. "Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez are officially set to tie the knot and get married Congratulations to the couple ❤️."

"Me getting excited for Ronaldo and Georgina being engaged like I'm invited to the wedding," a fan sobbed.

Georgina and Cristiano made their first public appearance as a couple back in 2017 and share five children together: 8-year-old twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 7-year-old daughter Alana, 3-year-old toddler Bella and 15-year-old Cristiano Jr. from Ronaldo's previous relationship.

Cristiano met Rodriguez when she was a Gucci store assistant and he would try to impress her by picking her up in some of his fanciest cars.

"Many times he'd come after work," she recalled on her 2022 Netflix series "I Am Georgina." "He would come, I remember once, in a Bugatti. My coworkers went crazy. They get there on the bus, and I would leave in a Bugatti. I mean, people couldn't believe it."
