Contact made: Tottenham 'would love' to sign 19-G/A player with 'amazing dribbling technique'

Tottenham Hotspur are now looking at multiple options after missing out on Eberechi Eze, and RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons has popped up on their radar. 

The Netherlands International has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can get the deal done. According to Fabrizio Romano, they “would love” to sign the player, and they ha ve already made contact regarding a potential move a few days ago. 

However, the 22-year-old has his heart set on joining Chelsea instead. It remains to be seen if Tottenham try and convince him to move to North London instead.

There is no doubt that he would be an exceptional acquisition for Tottenham. He is versatile enough to operate in multiple attacking roles, and he will add goals and creativity to the side. 

The Netherlands international had 19 goal contributions last season. There is no doubt that he has the physicality and technical attributes to do well in the Premier League, and he could develop into a feature star for Tottenham. He has been described as a player with “an amazing dribbling technique” by his former teammate Dani Olmo.
