Luis Henrique is set to have a defining moment for Inter Milan in this afternoon’s Serie A clash at Pisa as he fills in for the injured Denzel Dumfries.

With Dumfries sidelined due to an ankle injury, the Brazilian winger has a chance to prove he can step up.

Indeed, and fill the void on the right flank.

His performance in this match could determine his future role under Cristian Chivu.

The Gazzetta dello Sport highlights that the summer signing cost Inter €23 million plus bonuses.

However, he has struggled to assert himself since arriving.

Pisa Vs Inter Milan – Chivu Turns To Henrique Without Dumfries

In the first two matches without Dumfries, Chivu opted for Carlos Augusto on the right, leaving Henrique on the bench.

Those choices backfired as the right side became a vulnerability against Milan and Atletico Madrid.

Now, with Dumfries unavailable until at least December 9 against Liverpool, Henrique is expected to start.

This represents a “now or never” opportunity for the Brazilian to impress and cement himself as a key figure in Chivu’s plans.

He signed from Ligue 1 side Marseille in the summer but has struggled to settle in.

Today’s game will be a vital chance for Henrique to stake a claim for more minutes moving forward.
