Pep Guardiola is officially leaving Manchester City, with the Spanish manager’s success being undeniable.
Throughout his ten-year spell with The Citizens, Guardiola won six Premier League titles, the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and 11 domestic cups.
However, his City reign is now over, as he’s been unable to topple Arsenal’s Premier League fight in the final run of the season, although did win the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
Now, the former Barcelona boss is sure to be offered the managerial role at elite clubs around the globe, with David Beckham having now come knocking.
The Manchester United legend is understood to have offered Pep Guardiola the hot seat at Inter Miami, according to The Mirror.
Recent Inter Miami boss Javier Mascherano departed the MLS side last month, with the Miami-based club hoping to use the upcoming World Cup as an opportunity to get Guardiola into conversations.
However, the City boss is understood to be missing the tournament, and taking a break from management so he can take some time to focus on family.
That said, the report goes on to explain there is one job that Guardiola is open to, which could come available this summer, depending on the World Cup.
The FA previously looked to Pep Guardiola when replacing Gareth Southgate as England national team head coach in 2024.
While the appointment at the time wasn’t feasible, the three-time World’s Best Club Coach is understood to be keen on the role.
Currently Thomas Tuchel is in charge until after the 2028 Euros, however, as with football, anything can happen, and should England have a poor tournament this summer, Tuchel’s role could be on the line.
For now though, Guardiola is understood to be declining the offer from David Beckham, taking some well-deserved downtime after leaving the Etihad.
