Every Premier League Club's BEST Summer Transfers

Bruno Guimaraes is perhaps the obvious choice for Arsenal, but Christos Tzolis presents better value for money in our eyes. He was brilliant in the Community Shield against Manchester City, following it up with a strong display against Coventry in the Gunners’ inaugural 2026/27 Premier League outing.

Aston Villa – Johan Manzambi

Following an excellent World Cup campaign with Switzerland, Aston Villa capitalised and snapped up Johan Manzambi in the summer. We’ve yet to see the best out of him in a Villa shirt as of yet, but we’re confident he’ll have a successful stint at Villa Park.

Bournemouth – Antonio Silva

Antonio Silva is amongst the best young centre-backs in the world right now. Bournemouth pulled off a real coup when they snapped him up – at £26 million, he could prove to be a real bargain.

Brentford – Mamadou Sangare

Mamadou Sangare announced himself to the world in his Premier League debut for Brentford, bossing the midfield against Tottenham in a dominant 3-0 win. He wasn’t cheap, costing £38.5 million, but is already paying for himself.

Brighton – Luka Vuskovic

Brighton needed to replace Jan Paul van Hecke, when he left to join Tottenham, and did so in style by signing Luka Vuskovic. The Seagulls’ transfer business has been admired by many over the past few years – this is one of many great signings they’ve made in the previous series of seasons.

Chelsea – Maxence Lacroix

Chelsea often looked shaky at the back last season. They needed a defender – in many ways, Maxence Lacroix was the perfect player to sign. Fast, powerful and perfect for Xabi Alonso’s system, this was an inspired piece of business.

Coventry – Carl Rushworth

Coventry have made a few decent signings, but none have been quite as important as the acquisition of Carl Rushworth. He was brilliant on loan for them last season – he had a disappointing start to the campaign against Arsenal, but will surely improve as the season progresses.

Crystal Palace – Takehiro Tomiyasu

The summer transfer window has proven to be a difficult one for Crystal Palace, but bringing in a player of Takehiro Tomiyasu’s quality on a free transfer can only be a positive. A versatile player who can play anywhere across the backline, he’s taken his place as a wide centre-back for the Eagles.

Everton – Hayden Hackney

The Championship player of the year last season, Hayden Hackney should make the step up to the Premier League with ease. Injuries have hampered the start of his season, but Everton might well have a gem on their hands here.

Fulham – Gonzalo Garcia

Fulham took a gamble with the signing of Gonzalo Garcia, for sure. However, it seems to have been a gamble that is paying off – he scored against Chelsea on his Premier League debut.

Hull City – Konstantinos Tzolakis

Konstantinos Tzolakis enjoyed a magical debut for Hull City at home to Manchester United, making a number of top saves to give the Tigers a famous win over the big six giants in their return to the Premier League.

Ipswich Town – Julio Enciso

Julio Enciso was absolutely brilliant for Ipswich Town against Sunderland in the Tractor Boys’ opening game of the campaign. He looked to be several levels against everyone else on the pitch, gliding beyond defenders and notching up an assist for his efforts.

Leeds United – Harry Wilson

A wonderfully shrewd piece of business from Leeds United. Harry Wilson racked up 17 goal contributions in the Premier League last season for Fulham – then, upon the expiration of his contract, they snapped him up on a free transfer.

Liverpool – Victor Munoz

We’d have normally given this to Jeremy Jacquet, but he was technically a January signing – the deal was completed in the previous window, but he only joined Liverpool this summer. As such, this place goes to Victor Munoz. He had a middling start to life at the club, but has since exploded onto the scene, scoring a great goal against Nottingham Forest.

Manchester City – Ayyoub Bouaddi

It was tough to pick between Elliot Anderson and Ayyoub Bouaddi for Manchester City, but we eventually sided with the Moroccan international based on youth and value for money. A wonderful midfield playmaker, at just 18, his potential in the modern game is limitless.

Manchester United – Andrey Santos

Andrey Santos initially looked like an underwhelming signing for Manchester United, but could prove to be the perfect long-term replacement for the outgoing Casemiro. An intelligent midfield anchor with brilliant passing and solid athleticism, we expect to be an excellent fit for Michael Carrick’s system.

Newcastle United – Amar Dedic

Many were worried for Newcastle United’s chances after a seemingly lacklustre transfer window, but Amar Dedic has proven to be an excellent pickup. A real midfield general, he can break up play and create chances with regularity.

Nottingham Forest – Xaver Schlager

Nottingham Forest have made a few decent signings, but we picked out Xaver Schlager based on value for money. Snapped up on a free transfer, he adds energy and experience to their midfield ranks.

Sunderland – Thomas Meunier

Again, we picked Thomas Meunier based on his solid value for money. Sunderland need experience in their team this season, given their participation in Europe – this is a great way to do that.

Tottenham Hotspur – Marcos Senesi

The third free transfer in a row, this one might be the best one of the bunch. Marcos Senesi was sensational for Bournemouth last season – Tottenham managed to get their hands on him without having to pay a penny.
