Simone Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal have opened talks for Roma defender Angelino as Theo Hernandez has snubbed a move to the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Hilal have opened talks for Roma defender Angelino, who has become their primary target after Theo Hernandez’s snub.
The Milan defender is unwilling to join Al-Hilal and will likely wait for offers from European clubs this summer.
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has also rejected a move to Al-Hilal in recent hours.
Sources with direct knowledge of the matter inform me that a deal between Roma and Al-Hilal for Angelino could be finalised for approximately €20m, including add-ons.
Inzaghi has already given the green light to the transfer, while Angelino no longer seems untouchable at the Stadio Olimpico.
Roma have just hired Gian Piero Gasperini as their new head coach, while Claudio Ranieri has remained at the club as an advisor to the owners, but FIGC are now in talks to convince the 73-year-old to become the new Italy coach.
