Former Chelsea player Emmanuel Petit has told Cesc Fabregas not to join Chelsea as the new manager as it’s such a mess.
And he’s not wrong there is he? Petit was a former Chelsea and Arsenal player in the Premier League, as was Fabregas during his playing days.
Fabregas is obviously now in management and he is doing very well at Como. He has been linked with the Chelsea job many times recently, and now with Liam Rosenior sacked and out the door, there is a vacant role available at the club.
But Petit thinks Fabregas would be foolish to take the job if it was offered to him, and Petit is absolutely spot on there too unfortunately.
In quotes picked up on SPTC today, Petit said:
“Cesc Fabregas to Chelsea? No, no, no. If you have to choose between Chelsea and Barcelona, definitely you go to Barcelona, not Chelsea. Chelsea is a mess. It’s a mess.”
Anyone around Chelsea right now will agree that it’s an absolute mess.
There are expected to be between five to ten candidates to become Chelsea’s next manager with there admiration for Cesc Fabregas according to reports that came out yesterday.
Liam Rosenior’s fallout with certain groups in the Chelsea dressing room was apparently key to his downfall, and it was apparently the Spanish speaking players who disliked him the most.
