Galatasaray Still Far From Meeting Inter Milan Asking Price For Ex AC Milan Star

Galatasaray are reportedly still far away from Inter Milan’s asking price for midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu this summer.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews. They report that the Turkish champions have offered €15 million plus add-ons, whilst Inter want €40 million.

By now, Galatasaray’s interest in Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is certainly not a secret.

The Turkish champions have made the former AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen a top target this summer.

TuttoMercatoWeb confirm that Galatasaray are making a serious effort to sign Calhanoglu.

Having already made one blockbuster deal this summer in the form of Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane, Calhanoglu is the Istanbul giants’ next priority target.

Galatasaray Still Far From Inter Asking Price For Hakan Calhanoglu

SportMediaset confirm that Galatasaray are sounding out a move with Calhanoglu’s representatives. They are travelling to Istanbul for the talks.

But as far as offers to Inter, Mediaset anticipate that the Turkish club have yet to consider any higher than €15 million plus add-ons.

Inter, for their part, want at least €40 million.

Therefore, there is still some way to go in talks between the two clubs.

However, reports Mediaset, Inter could still accept a fee lower than €40 million. The broadcaster report that a deal could happen for a fee of around €25-30 million.
