Another World Cup qualifier match that is crucial for the two teams is the matchup between Germany and Slovakia. Germany will host Slovakia at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig, Germany.

Both teams play in Group A of the UEFA World Cup qualifiers, and both teams are tied on points in the group, sharing the same record after five matches played.

Germany and Slovakia are on 12 points and have a record of four wins and one loss. With this matchup being the last World Cup qualifier match of the group, a win for either team qualifies them directly to the World Cup.

Germany has a slight advantage due to their goal difference being a +7 goal difference after scoring 10 goals and conceding three. Slovakia's goal difference is a +4 goal difference after scoring six goals and conceding two.

If Germany vs Slovakia ends in a draw, Germany will qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

In their previous match, Slovakia defeated Northern Ireland 1-0 with a goal from Tomas Bobcek. Germany defeated Luxembourg 2-0 with two goals from Nick Woltemade, away from home.
