Manchester United aim to sell five players before the end of the summer transfer window, including three targets for Serie A clubs.

The Manchester Evening News reports that Manchester United hope to sell Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Rasmus Hojlund before the end of the summer transfer window on September 1.

Manchester United aim to sell three Serie A targets

Many of those players have been linked with a move to Serie A in the summer transfer window.

Several media outlets have claimed that Sancho has rejected an offer from Roma, but Football Italia sources understand that the English winger has only put talks with the Giallorossi on hold.

The signing of Leon Bailey could even be favourable to Roma, given that the Aston Villa loanee is a close friend of Sancho.

Roma have a full agreement with Manchester United and Sancho’s representatives over agent fees, according to our transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà.

Milan and Napoli fight for Hojlund

MEN adds that Sancho, Garnacho, Antony and Malacia have all trained alone at Carrington after telling Manchester United they want to leave this summer.

Hojlund, on the other hand, has attracted interest from Napoli and Milan. The Rossoneri have sent an intermediary to negotiate with the striker’s father, but have also submitted an offer to sign Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen.

Last but not least, Malacia has been linked with a move to Roma, but Besiktas are also reportedly interested in the Manchester United outcast.
