Chelsea conclude their pre-season tour of Asia against Malaysian Super League champions Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) today at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Johor, Malaysia.
This fixture is taking place just 24 hours after Chelsea's 3-0 victory against AC Milan. Because of the quick turnaround, Xabi Alonso is mostly expected to name an entirely different starting lineup compared to yesterday's side that faced Ruben Amorim's AC Milan.
For JDT, managed by Xisco Muñoz, this game acts as the toughest test for their squad after solid pre-season outings against Spanish clubs Elche and FC Cartagena.
FCole Palmer, Wesley Fofana, and Pedro Neto will most likely be rested for Chelsea after their involvement against AC Milan. Danny Welbeck and Joao Pedro too featured in the starting eleven and are expected to be rested as well.
Meanwhile for JDT, foreign players-João Figueiredo, Jon Irazabal, Hector Hevel, and Gabriel Palmero- are all fully eligible to feature.
The match kicks off at 8:00 AM EDT / 5:00 AM PDT on Sunday, August 9. US viewers can stream the game live on Paramount+, with digital coverage also available on the CBS Sports Golazo Network.
In the UK, kick-off is at 1:00 PM BST. The match will not be shown on traditional TV, but fans can watch it online via CFC+ with a match pass or active subscription.
In India, the game starts at 5:30 PM IST and live streaming is available exclusively on the FanCode app and website.
