AC Milan are getting ready for their post-season friendly in Perth today as they will take on Roma at 13:00 CEST. Fikayo Tomori and Yunus Musah provided their thoughts on the occasions.
Milan held an open training session at HBF Stadium in Perth, where the team prepared for the upcoming game against the Giallorossi. The session was attended by over 5,000 fans who purchased tickets, with all proceeds going to the charity Telethon.
Fans from AC Milan Fan Clubs in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, and Indonesia created a vibrant and supportive atmosphere, with chants in Italian coming from the stands.
At the end of the training session, Fikayo Tomori and Yunus Musah spoke with the many media representatives in attendance.
Tomori: “The people have been really nice to us, everyone has been very welcoming. I was surprised to see how many Italians there are here.
“A lot of people are coming to us speaking Italian and it has been a nice surprise – there have been many people at the hotel waiting for us to take a picture or an autograph and now seeing this crowd at our training session is incredible.
“Coming to the other side of the world and feeling at home is special. I have been here in Perth before and it is nice to be back.”
