Ciro Immobile is on the verge of joining Bologna, signing a €2m contract until 2026, but the Italian striker remains in talks over severance pay from his current club, Besiktas.
Italian striker Immobile is on the verge of joining Bologna, who have offered the Lazio legend a €2m contract until 2026, with an option for a further campaign.
Sources with direct knowledge of the matter inform me that Bologna and Immobile were also close to discussing a straight two-year deal.
So, what’s missing to finalise the deal? Sources tell me that Immobile has demanded severance pay to leave Besiktas, where he earns €6m per season.
The experienced Italian striker is under contract with the Turkish club until June 2026.
He scored 19 goals in 41 appearances with the Turkish club in the 2024-25 season, his first with Besiktas.
Immobile has also already played with Juventus, Genoa, Torino and Lazio in Serie A, scoring 201 goals in 353 appearances.
