Inter Miami Star Provides Casemiro Transfer Update

There are still a few issues before the transfer can become official. MLS salary rules could complicate the deal because Miami reportedly do not have an open Designated Player slot at the moment.

Another complication is that LA Galaxy reportedly hold Casemiro’s MLS discovery rights, meaning Inter Miami may need to negotiate with them first. 

Inter Miami Star Fuels Casemiro Transfer Rumor

Inter Miami midfielder Telasco Segovia was the latest to react to the possibility of Casemiro joining Inter Miami.

Segovia said that Casemiro would make the team stronger amid growing transfer links between the Brazilian midfielder and the MLS club..

"I know Casemiro is coming. He's a great player," he said.

The young Venezuelan midfielder welcomed the idea of adding a player with Casemiro’s experience and leadership, especially as Miami look for a long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets in midfield.

"If that's the case, he is more than welcome. I hope he contributes a lot to the team, I believe he will give us so much."

Casemiro’s possible arrival is seen inside the club as a major boost because of his experience with Real Madrid, Manchester United, and the Brazil national team. 

Segovia himself has become an important part of Miami’s midfield this season, but the club believe Casemiro could bring extra balance, leadership, and winning mentality to a squad aiming to compete for more trophies.
