Inter Milan new boy Manuel Akanji is set to make his debut for the club against Juventus, with another summer signing, Petar Sucic, set to be benched.

Akanji signed from Premier League club Manchester City on deadline day.

He joined Inter on a season-long loan with a €15m buy option.

Certain conditions trigger the option automatically.

After returning from international duty with Switzerland, where the defender scored, he now looks set to make his Nerazzurri debut.

According to today’s edition of the Corriere dello Sport, via FcInterNews, Akanji has been alternating with Yann Bisseck and Darmian at right centre-back.

Whilst Akanji Set For Inter Debut Against Juventus, Sucic Heads To Bench

Petar Sucic is another impressive summer signing for Inter.

Inter signed the talented young Croatian midfielder from Dinamo Zagreb.

He has wasted no time making an impact and has been impressive so far this season for the Nerazzurri.

However, the Corriere suggest that Sucic will start from the bench against Juventus.

Instead, experienced midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan will likely come into the starting eleven.

The former Arsenal and Manchester United player remained in Lombardy over the international break.

Therefore, the 36-year-old has had extra time to work closely with head coach Cristian Chivu.
