Inter Milan have moved decisively for Tarik Muharemovic, with the Bosnia defender having already given his personal commitment to joining the Nerazzurri as the club prepares to finalise a deal with Sassuolo.

According to Tuttosport, directors Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin have tracked Muharemovic for months.

His profile suits both a back three and a back four, making him an ideal tactical fit whatever system Cristian Chivu deploys next season.

Sassuolo value him at no less than €30-35 million, a fee Inter are prepared to meet given the scale of their defensive rebuild.

To reduce the cash outlay, Inter plan to include a young player as part of the deal.
