Sassuolo head coach Fabio Grosso has a near-fully fit squad available to him ahead of Sunday’s visit to San Siro to face Inter Milan.
The Italian coach made it clear in his pre-match conference that his side “need consistency.”
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim that this suggests Grosso will field the same lineup that beat Lazio 1-0 last weekend.
The Neroverdi were impressive against Maurizio Sarri’s side, picking up their first points of the season in the process.
Colombian right-back Yeferson Paz will miss the match against Inter.
The 23-year-old has a calf injury and is not expected to return before October at the earliest.
Meanwhile, the Gazzetta reveal that Sebastian Walukiewicz, on loan at Sassuolo from Torino, is doubtful.
Therefore, his inclusion will be touch-and-go until kick-off.
In his place, Malian full-back Woyo Coulibaly could come into Grosso’s starting eleven.
Finally, Gazzetta suggest Inter coach Chivu could hand starts to Josep Martinez and Francesco Pio Esposito.
