Ipswich Town welcome Leicester City to Portman Road on Tuesday, August 25, in the second round of the 2026-27 Carabao Cup.

The Premier League debutants Ipswich take on a Leicester team playing in League One. Ipswich have been excellent to start the season, beating Sunderland 2-1 on the opening weekend, while Leicester were beaten 2-1 by Burton Albion in League One.

Kickoff will be at 7:45 p.m. BST at Portman Road.

Ipswich may be up for a change of form after their Premier League debut. Florentino and Azor Matusiwa are injured and the Tractor Boys are without them.

Ipswich predicted lineup: Scherpen; O’Shea, Diop, Greaves, Davis; Nunez, Lukic; Fatawu, Enciso, Maeda; Emersonn.

Leicester are also likely to make changes, but Russell Martin will want to see his side bounce back following the poor League One result against Burton. Leicester beat Northampton Town 1-0 in the first round to advance to the second round.

Leicester predicted lineup: Stolarczyk; Jayden Joseph, Okoli, Souttar, Luke Thomas; Liam Cullen; Mavididi, Facundo Buonanotte, Winks, Kasey McAteer; A. Bristric.
