Italian Journalist Quashes Rumour Of Chelsea Offer For Italy Superstar: ‘He Wants To Stay At Inter Milan’

Chelsea have not made an offer for Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni.

This according to Italian transfer reporter Matteo Moretto, via FCInterNews. He reports that the 26-year-old wants to stay at Inter.

In the last couple days, reports have emerged of Chelsea’s interest in Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni.

The 26-year-old is a key player in the Inter starting eleven.

Bastoni won the trust of Antonio Conte in the 2019-20 season. Since then, Bastoni has been one of the Nerazzurri’s top players under Conte and Simone Inzaghi.

Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu will certainly also want to be able to count on the Italy international.

Bastoni was named as the 2024-25 Serie A defender of the season.

Chelsea Haven’t Made An Offer For Inter Defender Alessandro Bastoni

Reportedly, Chelsea made a €50 million offer for Bastoni. However, Inter would have naturally turned such a bid down.

According to Italian transfer reporter Matteo Moretto, however, there has not been a bid from Chelsea for Bastoni.

Furthermore, the transfer reporter anticipates that Bastoni would have little interest in making the move to Stamford Bridge.

The Italian international is intent on staying at Inter for the foreseeable future.
