Jack Fletcher is one of many talents to emerge from the Manchester United academy.

Son of Darren Fletcher, the young midfielder arguably is striving to follow in the footsteps of other academy graduates such as Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho.

Meanwhile, the midfielder has also been handed an official shirt number for the first-team from the Red Devils with this being 38.

As well as this, during this campaign, the 18-year-old has primarily played in Premier League 2 where he has scored twice and assisted once with an average rating of 7.71 on FotMob.

Furthermore, the former Manchester City youth player is also an England youth international having played for the youth international since 2022.

But, Jack Fletcher arguably still has a large way to go to following the academy graduates of the past.

Now, Fletcher has hit another step in his development as he has made his official Manchester United debut.

In today’s game against Aston Villa, at Villa Park, the midfielder was brought on in the 73rd minute with him replacing Manuel Ugarte.

For the midfielder, this debut marks a major step in becoming a first-team player for the side.

As well as this, the debut offered the 18-year-old an opportunity to impress Ruben Amorim and to prove to fans that he should feature in further Premier League games this season.

With his debut now done, attention could turn towards the Fletcher family to see if any reaction comes from his family.

Meanwhile, attention may also turn towards Jack Fletcher himself to see how he reacts to playing for the first-team and whether he enjoyed himself.

But, in the meantime, fans may have to be patient and may look towards Amorim to see when he chooses Fletcher for his next United game.
