Leeds United clashed heads with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road earlier today as they looked to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. The Whites made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 18th minute when James Justin found the back of the net. Noah Okafor doubled his team’s advantage just a couple of minutes later as Daniel Farke’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin managed to get his name on the scoresheet as well via the penalty spot in injury time as Leeds cruised to an impressive 3-0 win at Elland Road.

Let’s take a look at how each Leeds United player fared during the clash against Wolves.

GK: Karl Darlow – 7/10

He made one good save at the back and kept an important clean sheet at home.

CB: James Justin – 9/10

Justin gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and was a threat going forward. He deserves credit for scoring the opener in the 18th minute.

CB: Jaka Bijol – 7/10

He performed his defensive duties well and was a good presence on the ball.

CB: Pascal Struijk – 7/10

Struijk didn’t do much wrong defensively and made one good chance going forward.

RM: Jayden Bogle – 7/10

He earned the ball back twice and made one good chance from the right flank.

CM: Ethan Ampadu – 7/10

Ampadu made one important interception and was not shy to have a strike at goal.

CM: Ao Tanaka – 7.5/10

He earned the ball back once and engineered a few inviting chances in the final third.

LM: Gabriel Gudmundsson – 7/10

Gudmundsson secured the ball back a few times and was replaced in the 95th minute.

RAM: Brenden Aaronson – 7/10

He came back to defend when needed and caught the eye at times in the final third. Aaronson has got an assist to show for his efforts.

LAM: Noah Okafor – 8/10

Okafor was a constant menace on the left flank and did well to score and create a goal this afternoon.

ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 8.5/10

He caused a lot of problems for the opposition defenders and managed to score from the penalty spot late in the game.

Substitutes:

LW: Wilfried Gnonto – 6/10

He made one decent chance going forward.

CM: Ilia Gruev – 6/10

His impact on the game was minimal.
