Reports on Sunday claim that Juventus were one of several clubs to have enquired after Inter midfielder and Italy international Davide Frattesi during the January transfer window.

The former Sassuolo midfielder joined Inter on loan with an obligation to buy in the summer of 2023, but has struggled to anil down a position as a guaranteed starter as Simone Inzaghi tends to prefer a trio of Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan for the most important matches.

There had been multiple reports in and around the January transfer window lining the 25-year-old with a move away from San Siro.

Juventus interest in Frattesi revealed

Roma were particularly keen on Frattesi , who was born and raised in the capital and represented the youth Giallorossi youth team, as well as that of their rivals Lazio. Napoli had also been interested in a deal for the midfielder in January.
