Juventus Manager Considers Fielding Serbia Superstar Ahead Of Canada Striker Vs Inter Milan

Dusan Vlahovic could reportedly be in the starting line-up when Juventus take on Inter Milan in the iconic Derby d’Italia on Saturday.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, Igor Tudor is contemplating fielding the Serbian star alongside Jonathan David.

Despite joining Juventus with high expectations, the Canadian ace has yet to demonstrate his quality in Serie A.

However, he did score on his debut as Tudor’s side snatched away a 2-0 home win over Parma.

Yet, he was a near-anonymous figure in a 1-0 triumph at Genoa on the eve of the international break.

Unlike Jonathan David, Vlahovic has been on fire this season.

Indeed, the 25-year-old scored off the bench against Parma before netting a winner at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Furthermore, Dusan Vlahovic netted a winning goal in Serbia’s narrow 1-0 victory at Latvia last week.

Therefore, he seems in far better shape than the former Lille striker.

Perhaps a partner is what David needs to unlock his potential, so Tudor thinks of switching to a 3-5-2 system on Saturday.
