Thursday’s reports claim that Juventus are beginning to speed up in their pursuit of the Paris Saint-Germain-owned Randal Kolo Muani, and that a return for the Frenchman is not dependent on Dusan Vlahovic leaving the club first.
For most of the summer, Juventus have been aiming to bring Kolo Muani back to Turin after a successful loan spell in the second half of the 2024-25 season, which brought a goal every other game from the striker’s 16 Serie A appearances.
The Bianconeri have also brought in Canada international Jonathan David to bolster their attacking options, but are looking to sell Vlahovic, who is into the final 11 months of his contract and risks walking away for free next summer.
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio on Thursday, Juventus have decided to ramp up their pursuit of Kolo Muani, regardless of the situation surrounding Vlahovic.
There have been recent suggestions that the Serbian could run his contract down, which would likely see him end up as the third-choice centre-forward at the Allianz Stadium.
As far as Kolo Muani goes, PSG are still reportedly holding out for a significant fee for the France international, with various outlets quoting price tags anywhere from €50m up to €65m.
The two sides are negotiating for a deal with a probable obligation to buy, and Di Marzio claims that Juventus hope to wrap a deal up in the near future.
