A key Chelsea first team player has removed all of his Blues related content from his Instagram account, sparking big transfer rumours.

It’s not very often that you will see a player remove all the content of his club that he’s currently at without wanting to leave said club. It’s a very strange thing to do if you are no leaving the club.

So, is Wesley Fofana about to leave Chelsea this late in the transfer window? Because that is what has happened this Wednesday morning.

To be honest, Chelsea need to sign a new centre back in my opinion. So maybe, just maybe they have decided to sell Fofana in order to fund a new centre back. That is of course me completely speculating here and there could be nothing at all in it.

Either way, he’s done it, and it’s causing rumours

Naturally, when a player does this kind of thing, it is going to cause all sorts of transfer rumours and accusations. It’s a very stupid thing to do whatever the reason behind it, and it’s especially even more stupid if he’s not doing it because he is leaving the club.

But as you can see from the image above, Fofana has done it alright, and it’s causing a right old stir on social media.

I’d sell him to be honest

I’d accept a decent offer for Fofana if we could still replace him with a suitable centre back right now. He’s far too injury prone and also seems a bit problematic in my view.

I think he’s a quality defender when he is fit and in form, but I’d not be upset if we sold him and replaced him well.
