Liverpool have no intention of selling Inter Milan and Napoli target Federico Chiesa, but could change their tune if Alexander Isak signs.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Federico Chiesa is reportedly on the radars of a couple clubs in Serie A.

Inter Milan have reportedly considered the 27-year-old former Juventus and former Fiorentina winger as a possible option to bolster their attacking ranks in the event they can’t sign Ademola Lookman.

Meanwhile, reigning Italian champions Napoli are also eyeing Chiesa up.

The Partenopei want to sign one more winger this summer. Bringing Eljif Elmas back would be one possibility. However, Chiesa is also a target.

Liverpool Don’t Want To Sell Inter & Napoli Target Chiesa – Could Change Tune If Isak Arrives

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, however, Liverpool are not in any hurry to sell Isak.

The Italian international may not be a first-choice starter for the Premier League champions.

However, Chiesa did prove his worth by scoring his first Premier League goal yesterday. He netted the late winner in a 4-2 victory over Bournemouth on opening day.

According to the Gazzetta, Liverpool do not feel that they have room to sell Chiesa after losing attackers like Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez.

Therefore, the English champions are not currently open to a sale.

However, Liverpool are still trying to sign Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak. And if the Swede were to arrive, then they would be much more open to selling Chiesa.
