Liverpool will need to put its struggling league form aside and concentrate on the task at hand against PSV Eindhoven in Wednesday's UEFA Champions League encounter.

The Reds suffered a humiliating 3-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday and have fallen to eight defeats across their last 11 matches.

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot knows PSV well from his time as manager of Feyenoord. Lately, Slot has been under pressure due to Liverpool's poor start to the 2025-26 campaign.

Last season, PSV defeated Liverpool 3-2 at Philips Stadion, though the Reds still finished first in the group.
