Manchester United duo recognised in Team of the Season

The end of the season is approaching with Manchester United players being recognised for their efforts across the campaign.

Bruno Fernandes has been a main recipient of these honours with Gary Neville naming the midfielder as his Player of the Year whilst his counterparts went with alternative options.

Fernandes also led the way in the EA Sports FC 26 Team of the Season with him receiving a rating of 97, a number higher than any other in the team.

He also was given 92 pace, 95 shooting, 97 passing, 95 dribbling, 80 defence and 87 physical.

Many Manchester United supporters, and fans of the Premier League, have also included Bruno Fernandes in the conversation for the Player of the Year, which will be decided in the coming weeks as the season comes to a close.

Now, Jess Park and Maya Le Tissier have been recognised in the EA Sports FC 26 Women’s Super League Team of the Season.

Park has excelled in attack with six goals and five assists in the league this season whilst she has also scored twice in the Women’s Champions League.

Le Tissier, on the other hand, has performed excellently in defensive situations with 29 tackles, six clean sheets, and 169 defensive contributions coming when she has been on the field.

The centre-back has been given a rating of 95 by EA Sports whilst Jess Park has been given a rating of 94.

Manchester United’s women’s side currently sit fourth in the Women’s Super League with three games of the season to go.

Both Jess Park and Maya Le Tissier are likely to feature in these games and their influence may be pivotal in helping United secure a top-three place.

Marc Skinner’s side face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday before facing Brighton and Hove Albion next Saturday.

The side then finish their campaign against second placed Chelsea away from home.
