Casemiro was sent off in the match against Chelsea just nine minutes after scoring United’s second goal in the first half, and former Red Devil Dimitar Berbatov said he should have been more careful with his actions.
Manchester United vs. Chelsea made history in the first half. It was the first Premier League game since 2014 in which two players — one from each side — were sent off before halftime.
United struck first, soon after goalkeeper Robert Sánchez was shown a red card. The Blues held on until the 37th minute, when Casemiro scored the second. But just minutes later, he was sent off with a second yellow card for a foul on Andrey Santos.
After the match, former Manchester United forward Dimitar Berbatov criticized Casemiro, saying he should not have been caught off guard by the second yellow.
"It's a clear yellow card. I don't know why he is in disbelief. He needs to be a bit smarter. He needs to keep cool, they're leading 2-0. You need to be smarter than that. Sometimes even the best players can make mistakes," Dimitar Berbatov said.

Casemiro will miss the next fixture against Brentford in London. Two yellow cards in one game automatically mean the player is suspended for the following match. On the other hand, Chelsea’s goalkeeper Robert Sánchez will be out for three games after receiving a direct red card.
According to Premier League rules, two yellows equal a one-game suspension, while a straight red usually results in a three-match ban.
