Tottenham are looking to bring in attacking reinforcements for next season

The time has come for Daniel Levy to put the money where his mouth is. The club chairman recently came out and said that the Lilywhites are aiming to win the Premier League and the Champions League in the coming years. However, Levy must invest heavily into the squad to achieve that and do it quickly before the pre-season commences in just a few days’ time.

Newly appointed Spurs manager Thomas Frank is already under pressure to carve out positive results in the Premier League next season. Many fans believe that the Danish tactician is being set up to fail at N17 after Tottenham’s slow start to the transfer window. There is a clear need to bring in attacking reinforcements in the summer to help Frank compete on all four fronts in his first season.

The North London club needs to sign a prolific left-winger that could elevate the quality of the attack next season. Thomas Frank relies heavily on his wingers to create chances and score goals by cutting in. So, Daniel Levy must take notice of that and bring in a player that would suit the system and make an instant impact at N17.

Tottenham receive massive boost in their efforts to sign Man United star Marcus Rashford

With Heung-Min Son heading for a potential exit in the summer and Mathys Tel still learning his trade at N17, Tottenham need to bring in a new left-winger that could instantly make an impact at N17 under Thomas Frank. The Lilywhites need to address this problem immediately, and signing the right player might help Tel develop his game next season as well.

It was reported earlier that Spurs were interested in signing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United. The England international fell out with Ruben Amorim midway through last season, and it is believed that their relationship cannot be repaired now. The aforementioned report had also stated that the Lilywhites faced competition from Barcelona and Bayern Munich for his signature.

Now, Tottenham have received another boost in their efforts to seal the deal for the England international. As per Fabrizio Romano (via X), Marcus Rashford has put in a transfer request at Man United as he aims to secure a move away from M16. This comes after his ‘No.10’ shirt was given to new signing Matheus Cunha for next season. The England international is keen to rejuvenate his career and wants to play regularly in the Champions League.

Signing Rashford would instantly elevate the quality of the attack for next season. The Manchester United star’s world-class dribbling ability, along with his efficiency in front of goal, will prove to be beneficial for Spurs going forward. The 27-year-old can also play as a number nine, and tends to make runs into the channels using his explosive pace to beat the defenders. The only downside of this move would be Rashford’s salary demands, and also his lack of work-ethic during games.
