Manchester United finished their kit releases for this season last month, unveiling their third kit to supporters before debuting it against AC Milan.

United released their away kit for the season prior to that, with it making its debut against Rosenberg, whilst the club’s home kit was revealed at the end of last season.

That kit, a classic red, was debuted against Nottingham Forest with it also worn when Michael Carrick’s men took on Brighton and Hove Albion at AMEX Stadium.

The Red Devils are just four games into the season, and have worn their home kit for three of those, but new details have begun to emerge about next season’s home strip.

Details published by Footy Headlines earlier this week confirmed that the Manchester United 2027/28 home kit would be red with patterns inspired by Manchester’s industrial roots.

Footy Headlines have now exclusively revealed that the club are set to release a new all-black version of their home kit for next season.

The publication, revealing the news, have said that the kit will feature the same logo, designs, and features as the red home kit but will converted entirely to a black, monochromatic design.

Footy Headlines have also said that the kit will be released next summer, shortly after the main home kit is released to the public.

News yesterday revealed United’s third kit for next season would be largely black, in a similar vein to the kit displayed in the 2025/26 campaign.

The club have previously had black kits 15 times throughout their history, spanning from the 1937/38 season to last season’s kit.
