While waiting for the new sporting director to be appointed, the current AC Milan management hope for the summer budget to be boosted by sales.
As MilanNews reports, there are a number of players out on loan with an option to buy and Pierre Kalulu is one. The Frenchman is doing well in Igor Tudor’s three-man defence and that has convinced the Juve leadership.
The Bianconeri have already paid €3m as a loan fee, and the current feeling is that ‘there will be no problems whatsoever’ in paying the €14m agreed. The former Lyon man, therefore, should head there permanently.
Alexis Saelemaekers meanwhile is having a great season at Roma. If the Rossoneri really decided to switch to a 3-4-3, he would be an even more valuable resource for the next head coach, but the feeling is that if a €20-25m bid came in, Milan would sacrifice him to raise money.
That would be €35-40m in the bank, then there is Tommaso Pobega. The midfielder is a player appreciated by Vincenzo Italiano, but he is not an immovable starter, so the Rossoblu plan to negotiate a fee lower than the €12m option agreed last summer.
