Monza have won promotion back to the top flight at the first time of asking via the Serie B play-offs and have now completed the full Serie A line-up for the 2026-27 season.
Monza have earned promotion back to Serie A thanks to a two-legged play-off final victory over Catanzaro, which came to an end on Friday night. Monza won their first leg 2-0 and were defeated 2-0 in their return fixture on Friday, but despite the tie ending level, it was Monza who earned promotion due to their superior league finish (3rd vs. 5th).
Monza defeated the fifth-placed Catanzaro over two legs of the semi-finals, drawing 2-2 in their first leg and winning 2-1 in the second earlier in May.

They join 2025-26 Serie B winners Venezia and runners-up Frosinone as the newly-promoted sides in Serie A.
