Nottingham Forest have reportedly agreed to sign Douglas Luiz from Juventus on loan with an obligation to buy, and once the two clubs complete the deal, the Old Lady will bring Randal Kolo Muani back from PSG.

Juventus are finalising Douglas Luiz’s transfer to Nottingham Forest.

What Nottingham Forest need to sign Douglas Luiz

According to the latest report from Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri have agreed to send the Brazilian to Forest on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy. The two clubs are now negotiating over the midfielder’s transfer fee.

Nottingham Forest already offered €30m to sign the ex-Aston Villa star, but Juventus aim to get at least €40m to avoid a capital loss.

Forest have also reached an agreement on personal terms with Douglas Luiz.

Once the deal is complete, Juventus will have the financial resources to bring Kolo Muani back from PSG.

The French forward already spent six months on loan in Turin, scoring 10 goals in 22 appearances in the second half of the 2024-25 season.

According to the report, Juventus have already shaken hands with PSG over a €10m loan deal plus an obligation to buy for €35/40m.

How much Juventus will pay to bring Kolo Muani back

The final details have to be fixed, but Douglas Luiz’s sale would push Kolo Muani back to Juventus.

Fabrizio Romano also provided an update on Kolo Muani, saying that the 26-year-old “remains calm about his future as he’s expected to be at Juventus before the end of the summer transfer window.

“He’s not negotiating with any other club and patiently waiting for Juve to complete outgoings.”
