Nottingham Forest will close out their preseason schedule when they host French club Brest at the City Ground on Sunday, August 16. The friendly is Forest's last before the Premier League season kicks off next weekend against Leeds United.

Forest will go into the match with a bit of momentum after a three-game losing streak, having defeated Bayer Leverkusen 2-1. Arnaud Kalimuendo scored a late winner in that game, giving Glasner a positive result ahead of the final preseason test.

Glasner is likely to shuffle his squad again as he gets ready for the Premier League opener. The latest team news suggests that Chris Wood is in doubt after missing the Leverkusen win, but otherwise Forest are in good shape.

The game may also give Forest's new signing Ousmane Diomande a chance to make his debut. Other additions vying for a spot in Glasner's squad include Xaver Schlager and Gustavo Sa. One of Forest's biggest losses this summer has been the departure of Elliot Anderson to Manchester City.

Brest have not lost their last three preseason games. The French side were level with Venezia in their last match, with Ludovic Ajorque coming on for an 88th minute equaliser. Kamory Doumbia, Mama Baldé and Romain Del Castillo have also scored recently.
