AC Milan will be without Noah Okafor against Red Star Belgrade and this comes after he was not seen training on Tuesday morning.

Given the pressure that Paulo Fonseca finds himself surrounded by, it is probable that he will look to the best team possible against Red Star – given the Champions League will be pivotal to him remaining in his job.

However, he will not be given a choice about his left-winger, as Noah Okafor did not report for training duty this morning – or if he did, he was not doing so in the presence of his teammates as seen in videos this morning.

Instead, Milan News reports that he is struggling with a lower back pain, and so he will not be available for tomorrow’s game, even as a substitute.

The game, perhaps, could have been an opportunity for him to prove himself to any interested parties, with a January departure not to be written off. However, it may also now given Leao a chance to prove his importance due to Christian Pulisic’s absence.

A win at San Siro is vital for things, and should another three points be added to the Rossoneri’s Champions League tally, confidence will rise about the possibility of a quarter-final place, which is needed after the defeat to Atalanta.
