Tottenham Hotspur managed to convincingly get past Arsenal in the North London derby at Hong Kong. The ideas of Thomas Frank were in full effect against the Gunners even as the North London club continue to build towards the 2025/26 season.
Dominic Solanke missed the game against Arsenal with an issue. The English, for all his quality whenever he plays, has struggled to stay fit for a run of games ever since his move the N17. Thus, Spurs might be looking at a new striker, especially with Richarlison not convincing even when he is fully fit.
Put it down to a confidence issue if you will, but Richarlison has looked a pale shadow of the player who once looked to be a budding talent at Goodison Park. The Brazilian attacker missed a guilt edge chance against Arsenal in the game today and it certainly would not have helped his cause.

Now, as per Fichajes, Al-Hilal striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is back on the radar of Premier League clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Newcastle United. The Serbian number nine has had a very good couple of seasons in the Saudi Pro League but could find himself back on familiar hunting ground.
Mitrovic has previously played in the Premier League with Fulham, where he proved to be quite a clinical goalscorer. At 30, he is now in the prime years of his career as a footballer and with every passing season, he seems to keep getting better. This would be the perfect time to make a jump back to Europe.
The Serbian international has earned a lot of praise for his performances over the years. He was labelled an “old-fashioned” striker for the way he played the game. Mitrovic played his best football by dominating defenders with his physicality and is the perfect kind of player to play with the back to his goal.
Solanke is different to Mitrovic. The Englishman excels at making runs behind the defence, and although he does use his physicality inside the box, he isn’t as imposing as the Al-Hilal marksman. The Serbian international could prove to be an excellent option off the bench for Spurs and be a valuable option off the bench.
It remains to be seen how Tottenham’s interest in Mitrovic plays out. With Manchester United and Newcastle also interested, it may not be easy for the Lilywhites to convince him this summer and only time will tell if the Serbian finds himself back in the Premier League this upcoming season.
