There is now one month left of the transfer window and although Milan have done a lot thus far, there are still some positions they need to reinforce. In other words, we can expect to see at least a few more signings.

As highlighted by MilanNews, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Mascara have done well to on the transfer market thus far. Gigio Donnarumma left and was immediately replaced by Mike Maignan for a mere €13m, with a much more reasonable salary.

Hakan Calhanoglu also left at the start of the summer and the Rossoneri managed to bring back Brahim Diaz (the new No.10) on a loan with an option to buy (€22m total). Real Madrid will have a buy-back clause at €27m.

Furthermore, Mario Manduzkic was far from a success and he departed at the end of the season. To fix that gap, Milan signed Olivier Giroud from Chelsea for a fee of €1m plus an additional €1m in bonuses.

For the left-hand side, having sold Diego Laxalt, the Rossoneri secured Fode Ballo-Toure from Monaco for just €4m. It doesn’t stop with these signings, as Milan also redeemed Fikayo Tomori and Sandro Tonali for €28m and around €10m respectively.

With that said, there is still some work to do for Milan: a playmaker, a right-back and a fourth-choice midfielder are needed and a third striker could be useful. Then, of course, we have the likely sales to deal with, such as Samu Castillejo and Andrea Conti.
